As we all have come to realize, this pandemic has made drastic changes to many marketing strategies for all businesses. Most businesses have had to rely on the internet and social media to keep business afloat. As we roll into our 6th month of COVID-19, more businesses are wanting to get back out there and re-create those in-person interactions again that we’ve had to avoid for many months. One of the more common ways to step back into those closer interactions have been to use brand ambassadors to represent businesses who are pushing out new products. But brand ambassadors are at just as much of a risk as anyone else that’s willing to step back out into a social world and must be protected not just for their own health but their customer’s health as well. Here are the ways LuckyXP Marketing protects our brand ambassadors and the customers they work with.

  1. We first inform our brand ambassadors of the risk of COVID-19 acknowledging that it is a serious contagious virus and the risks that they may be taking by working in public again. This allows our ambassadors to know exactly what possible results they could receive as well as giving them a chance to make the decision to put themselves in the position.
  1. Next, we follow CDC guidelines to inform and keep our LuckyXP brand ambassadors updated with information on COVID-19. This includes the awareness of coronavirus symptoms so we know along with our clients that our ambassadors are not showing any symptoms before interacting with others. We also include the possible exposure that could put them at risk before noticing symptoms as well as the actions that must be taken to ensure everyone else’s safety. We believe that in order to protect our brand ambassadors we must also protect our client’s customers.
    • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention list the updated symptoms that could appear between 2-14 days after exposure of the virus. Symptoms include:
      • Fever or chills
      • Cough
      • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
      • Fatigue
      • Muscle or body aches
      • Headache
      • New loss of taste or smell
      • Sore throat
      • Congestion or runny nose
      • Nausea or vomiting
      • Diarrhea
    • We also confirm with our brand ambassadors that they have not traveled internationally or to a highly impacted area within the United States in the last 14 days prior to working to  ensure that they will not be putting any other people at risk.
  1. Also, to follow CDC guidelines on hand disinfecting/ protection and respiratory etiquette, LuckyXP managers provide a sanitation kit to all of our brand ambassadors to increase their safety while out in public and handling different products or items.
    • The Lucky 415 sanitation kit includes:
      • FDA approved masks to avoid the possible spread of the virus through infected respiratory droplets which can land on mouths or noses and inhaled into the lungs. These droplets can be spread by coughing, sneezing, and even talking. Wearing a mask will reduce the spread of droplets when out in a public setting.
      • Alcohol- based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Some of our brand ambassadors do not have access to soap and water while working so providing hand sanitizer will help to quickly reduce the number of germs that our ambassadors hands can be exposed to while working with different objects such as tables, bags, flyers and carts.
      • FDA approved disposable gloves to protect our brand ambassadors from surfaces or objects that have been exposed to someone who may contain the virus. Although CDC only encourages wearing gloves for health officials or when cleaning or caring for someone who is sick, the LuckyXP staff want to take the extra step to make sure our brand ambassadors are staying protected while working.

As we continue to adjust to new updates and guidelines for COVID-19, we continue to work hard to keep our brand ambassadors safe and healthy as they step back out into public settings.
